Yes that is right, we are now Texans, at least for the next couple of years, as Meaghan completes her Reproductive Endocrine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. We are adjusting well to the weather, can't really complain when it is 85 degrees in January, but will probably have a different opinion throughout the summer months.
We live in a pretty nice apartment complex with a gym, pool, and waterfalls, but it still doesn't feel like home. At least the commute is short to the hospital and I have been able to work from home for the last couple of months. Meaghan enjoys the fact that dinner is ready every night when she gets home and she even bought me a leather chair to put my feet up on.
Isn't she a sweetheart, probably just a bribe for the fact that she moved me to Texas and I give her nightly foot massages. She enjoyed decorating the apartment for Christmas, even though we spent the week at my parents in Puyallup, WA. She felt that it wasn't going to be the holidays without a tree, so we went to Lowe's and bought a real one, too bad it died after a couple of weeks, but it looked good while it lasted.
So another holiday season has passed and we are looking forward to 2013. Stayed tuned to the DVB for the all the exciting news from Houston, TX, we promise we won't disappoint.

You should post these pictures on FB. I'm afraid I'm going to miss out. Like your new chair and tree!
